I'm a hobby AV person, if that's what you call it. I have 3 named AV's and about 7 NOID's and many leaves down. I just began collecting about a year ago. Previously to that I've never had more than 1 NOID at a time.

I'm Janet from northeast Wisconsin and I'm the hybridizer of the Allegro series of African violets. I've been growing violets for almost 40 years and have a substantial collection of 2000+ plants scattered around a number of rooms in my house. Hello everyone, I'm Mary (now known as maxiMary since my eldest grandaughter is miniMary). I have been an AV enthusiast for many years, enjoyed growing for my own pleasure and to share.
