I am sorry that I have not been posting much lately. I had a show this weekend and it took me a couple days to recover. Now that I can sit here and my eyes are wide open I am ready to continue. I will be in chat tomorrow night at 8PM EST. I will wait till 9 but if no one shows "I'm outta there".

Well, I did it again. We had the Trisate AVC show this past weekend in Morristown, NJ and no thanks to me, it was a good show.
There were 12 members exhibiting and we had 103 plants in hort with about 9 in design.. I had 6 entries none of which were anything to brag about AS usual I could not resist the sale table and came home the following: Plants ................. Chirita Diane Marie, Ness'...

I am suggesting a way to reactivate this web site and get things up and running again. I am resolving that every day that I go on the internet I will check this site and make some comment, no matter how trivial.
If everyone did this it may make a difference. Lets give it a try even if you say good morning or good night. Let everyone know you are still interested/

East Coast Conventions

Is anyone planning to go to the 2010 AVSA convention in Raleigh this spring? I know that I am going to try to be there. I am so looking forward to going because I haven't been to one since Washington DC a few years back. I do know that I am sure to be at the 2011 convention simply because it is within daily commuting distance. Whoopee! Looking forward to the convention in Cherry Hill, NJ.

Are YOU in the chat room?

How about trying this: whenever you come to our forum to read.... click on the chat room and see who else is waiting to visit????

You don't have to chat for an hour... all you have to do is say HI... and maybe you will find we are talking about something so interesting you will stay for 15 minutes!!!

I just made TWO CHANGES to our forum...
I think they will be 'for the better'... let me know how they work for you!!!

1) I changed the time for the 'Who's Online'... to the last 15 minutes. This might give us a clue to who is viewing the forum right now.... It WAS set to who had visited the forum in the last 6 hours.
We can set this any way we like... from the last 15 minutes to the last day, or last week, etc.

2) I changed the front...

Was in chat this evening with Donna, Mrs. J., and Louise and we decided to try a chat tomorrow Thursday, August 16th at 5PM EST. Many VV members have asked if there is any way to receive a daily digest of recent messages into their email. Yuku does not offer this. They will send you an email notice that a new message has been added, but they do not include any part of the message.
We have set up a FeedBlitz 'feed' that you may subscribe to, if you wish to receive a list of our most recent messages. Not all messages will be sent full text, but it is as close to a 'daily digest' as we knew...
