An interesting flower form, Wasp flowers are flowers that have the upper two flower petals independently fused forming a tube. I never had any trouble with Royal Rage at all. I have shared this one with friends
over on the Seattle side of the mountains....and they say it tops their favorites
list.
I like the color change or play in the flower, and it's been a dependable bloomer. It's
one I keep in my collection, but not my favorite. Here's mine in it's younger days. I
just put down a leaf for more.

Morgan's Barossa is coppery pink with slight pink copper edge. It blooms often and the foliage is nice and flat.

In Canada, three hybridizers are no longer working with violets.

Curcurco, who is in Toronto, B-Man's series is no longer hybridizing. Demers in Quebec is no longer hybridizing. Perreault, who produced so many huge variegated specimens is now semi-retired is now a snow-bird flying south in winter to Florida and coming home to Quebec when weather is more pleasant.

Europe is another thing as far as hybridizing goes.

What two plants would you use to create these seed?

I did a search on FC2 and there are no red with white border on variegated pink foliage available so this would be a first.

Some Blossom Colors Seem Hard To Photograh!
Have you had this problem???

Pink is the most difficult to show correctly...for me at least.
Blue is the easiest and Lavender as well.
Red also seems easy.
But pink has me buffalooed!

I think the foliage color/tone and darkness/lightness has some effect.

I tried to get a decent picture without my flash going off. The flash washes out the pink somewhat. It is
